Yesterday's "Two of Everything" flute duet concert was a big success! -I judge success by the percentage of beaming smiles on the faces in the audience ;-)
The performers had a great time, and we're so appreciative to those who came to watch the show. I truly enjoyed working with Rachael Barter and Warren King to produce a truly unique performance. Though I've worked with each of these musicians individually, this is the first time we put on full concert together. I'm sure it won't be the last.I must admit, I had to step out of my comfort zone a bit for some of the comedy theatrics that we working into our closing number, Birdsong, but I'm so glad I did. That was the most fun I've had in a performance in a very long time. (And I always enjoy playing, so that's saying a lot!)
