Piping Hot Flutes! - Concert Debut

Piping Hot Flutes had out first public performance last Sunday in Kennebunk. We played a wide variety of music ranging from a selection from the Peer Gynt suite to a trio rendition of "Drunken Sailor." Favorites among the audience were "Black is the Color of my True Love's Hair", a traditional song beleived to have originated in the apalachian region of the US, and "Sortie" by French composer Lefébure-Wely. We had a great time, and hope to have another concert soon.

As sad as it makes me to say this, winter isn't that far off. We'll soon be thinking about our holiday repertoir and preparing for winter concerts. If you would like some live music at your holiday event (or any other event for that matter), please keep us in mind. As always you can contact me for more information about booking through the "contact" page on this website.
